Professor Dodd Denton

Dr. Gerald Denton received his doctor of medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS in 1990. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Prior to coming to Ochsner, Dr. Denton spent his career as an officer in the United States Navy working in various capacities in Internal Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to his Internal Medicine practice at Ochsner, Dr. Denton will be working with the University of Queensland program.
