How to apply
Application process
1. Online application
If you have satisfied the admissions criteria, submit your application directly to the UQ-Ochsner Enrolment team. The Enrolment team will work with you to make sure your application is complete. Once ready, the Enrolment team will progress your full application on to the UQ International Admissions team to calculate GPA, assess MCAT validity, and confirm all other requirements. When the Enrolment team progresses your application, you will be given access to our admissions portal, so that you can track the status of your application each step of the way.
The following documents are required when completing the application:
- Passport and/or permanent resident card
- MCAT score report including AAMC verification code, or MCAT registration
- Official academic transcripts (including transcripts from any institutions where you received transfer credit)
- Evidence of pre-requisites
- UQ Agent authority form (the UQ-Ochsner Enrolment team will act as the ‘agent’ when progressing your application)
Transcripts are only considered official if they include a blue ribbon seal, or are sent directly to the UQ-Ochsner Enrolment team by the issuing institution. Documents sent to applicants first in order to upload to the application will be considered unofficial for the purpose of admission. If you are unable to secure an official transcript, you can upload an unofficial transcript in order to submit the application. An official transcript will need to be sighted prior to your application progressing. You can send the official transcript in several ways:
Through secure electronic delivery to ochsner.med@enquire.uq.edu.au
