Family and friends joined them as they received their white coats, and they took an oath to serve, heal, lead, educate and innovate for their patients – each and every day.
Each student was also honored with Humanism in Medicine pin – a visual symbol displayed on the lapel of each white coat to remind them to keep empathy at the center of clinical practice.
